I don't find the content on the Uber App to be interesting.. like, at all

but I (and millions of other users) keep coming back to it

"More interesting content" may be necessary if you're trying to grow a social media platform, but why should that be the sole focus for the Farcaster Protocol?

There are so many use cases for Farcaster (including one day competing with Uber, perhaps). Why only focus on social media?

I mean, they don't have content in the social media sense, but when you go to the app it's not a blank page — it has "content" 

..which is not terribly interesting, but that doesn't stop them from being successful

because it's an open protocol where anyone can leverage user data to pre-determine reputation for new use cases

if anyone wants to compete with an existing platform they need to build user reputation from scratch (which is why it's hard to compete with tech-bssed companies).

Farcaster makes that process much easier
