I learned about Bitcoin in 2013 when I was deciding where to invest my small savings. I did not buy in at that time cuz I couldn't understand BTC. Fast forward a few years and my coworker was finally able to convince me to buy BTC.

Yes, most people dismiss it as a scam when they first learn about it. It really takes a few years to understand that it's not a scam.

It took me a few years of monitoring bitcoin before I finally committed to buying back in 2017 as well!
