I miss this feeling - I've been using cursor as my daily driver now and it just doesn't have that same magic feeling like nvim

Yeah I've been meaning to try it out again. I tried it when it was in beta and found the collaborative editing really slick although it's not really a useful feature for me anymore. 
I've heard it's gotten a lot better since the beta!

You should check out Zed! It’s built in vim mode is something special, even wrote a blog post about the whole transition. 

With that said I still keep Neovim in my pocket for quick edits or config changes, but redoing my config always reignites my love for the whole thing.
