Nevertheless, the rules are still in draft form, meaning that they will be subject to further parliamentary scrutiny. In addition, the FCA has opened up a sector-wide debate under Discussion Paper DP25/1 Regulating Cryptoasset Activities. Therefore, there will be a real opportunity for the industry to give feedback to shape the final rules.
