This tweet reminded me of what x.com/bchesky said about focusing on quality over quantity of users. He says: “When I joined YC, the founder Paul Graham used to have a saying, and it’s the most important advice I ever got. It’s counterintuitive. It’s better to have 100 people love you than a million people who just sort of like you.” He also shared a story about a customer who loved Airbnb so much that she told 100–200 people about it. That’s when he realized that people who truly love a product become your marketing department. His takeaway was simple: if you have a business idea, you don’t need to get to a million users right away. You need to get to 100k. Before 100k, you need to get to 10k. Don’t focus on the mountaintop, focus on the first step. Because it makes it easier to manage the problem. Video Source: The diary of a CEO by x.com/StevenBartlett
