I find myself getting more frustrated with my older son because 

A. He is exactly like me


I’m aware of it and catch myself some times, but it’s a constant battle

It’s as though I punish him for being the things I don’t like about myself

best way to approach that is to use those moments as a mirror to work on whatever it is in you! you’ll be amazed at how it transfers.

each soul arrives here so different! 

I think that when a parent focuses everything on healing their own reactivity to teach by being rather than telling, it creates miracles that support each unique child growing into the best version of themselves  + free from inheriting that work to navigate as an adult.

Also saying it out loud I think really helps

His little brother see's us butt heads and of course uses cuteness to get out of stuff rather than obstinance
