I’ve been carting my paperback copy of atlas shrugged around everywhere, and as a result, the cover is worn, pages are waterlogged, and a swath of pages even fell out in the park. so I chased down those pages and used book glue to secure them back into the book, and now they are sturdy again, like the patched bag of a worn traveler, albeit a little rough and uneven. obviously I was not going to trade away the treasure of my notations for a new copy. 

now the outer dimension of the book is giving the appearance of being uncovered under a pile of rubble… at an abandoned factory... and while I cannot tell you how much this delights me or why I am this way, I can tell you this is who I am.
