Human behavior isn’t ideological anymore — it’s algorithmic. Most conflict is a clash of algorithms. Ethics is the attempt to regulate or beautify algorithms. Agility is meta-algorithmic thinking — the art of switching systems. Reality is what remains when the algorithm breaks down And you’re trapped in input/output schemes, a little recursive script that lets people act with apparent purpose. But agility is the ability to notice the cracks — to feel when the feedback loop is hallucinating meaning, not responding to reality. In a crisis, the algorithm might still say: continue as programmed. But reality doesn’t care about loops. This is almost gnostic: a world of simulations built on algorithms, and a few people realizing that no computation can simulate the real. We're not governed, not by leaders, but by ranking functions, meaning a ranking function doesn’t ask, What’s true? It asks, What’s popular? Or worse: What’s sticky? What makes people stay? What keeps the loop alive?

Orators of antiquity saw written language as something that atrophied memory Perhaps they were right, but only in the most narrow sense for how many of us can recite Beowulf or the Odyssey? Similar arguments against LLMs are emerging today, except now the skill of writing is the purported atrophying skill

the future of art will no longer be about “creating” but rather “curating” speed enabled by a suite of new tools, plus the abundance and accessibility of references

Great idea. With new clients like @base.base.eth coming on board where you “earn with every post” I wonder if creator monetization features will be universalized to all platforms. If 100 people buy my post on one platform, why would people bid for a 1-of-1 on the other?

Yea agreed. Politics aside, he clearly understands digital culture and his communication skills are top notch. Takes the offensive and comes off as funny and authentic.

I generally agree with this take— we need more and more composability and interoperability. No reason why my creator coin on one platform shouldn’t be my creator coin on all platforms.
