As many of you know, THE DAM GENESIS features amazing artists. I can’t help but anticipate the impact this initiative will have on this space in the future. Though we are still a small group, I believe that when the boundaries between digital and traditional art dissolve and more people recognize their value, this collection will be reevaluated. I am honored to be a part of this endeavor.

The first piece I dropped in this space was in Oct 2021. The chain is Tezos, and the platform is HEN. Looking back now, I lacked a lot of knowledge at the time. Nevertheless, supported by wonderful friends, I experienced the joy of presenting my work in this space. To be honest, I never imagined that someone like me, who had been active in Japan for over 20 years without much recognition, would be appreciated as an artist. So, at first, I didn’t care about evaluations and just wanted to create something as a memento. As I continued to release works, people began to appreciate my creations. From that point onward, there hasn’t been a single day where I haven’t felt grateful for my good fortune.
This work recreates the style of my HEN days. While I currently create works using Japanese-style patterns, when I heard that this piece would be permanently preserved in a museum, I felt inspired to create something that returned to my roots.
