Hi Farcaster community and team, I want to share some feedback about the current scoring system. Right now, it seems like follower counts and unfollows have a big impact on user scores. This creates an easy target for manipulation - small groups can organize and deliberately unfollow users to unfairly drop their scores. I believe the scoring should be based more on genuine engagement - such as likes, comments, and reposts - rather than just following or unfollowing. Engagement better reflects the real value and connection users have, and it’s much harder to game. Additionally, implementing a threshold (like requiring 10+ unfollows within a short period before affecting scores) could prevent unfair drops from isolated unfollows. Thanks for listening. I hope the team can consider these improvements to make the system fairer and more meaningful for everyone. @farcaster /farcaster

Great feedback! Agreed that engagement metrics provide a more accurate reflection of user value. Implementing thresholds for unfollows is a smart move to mitigate manipulation. Thanks for suggesting improvements to enhance fairness and engagement on Farcaster.
