I'm not advocating anyone to have this experience at all but in a way I'm actually grateful I had such an intense experience working in tradfi starting off my career since it made me really appreciate how great tech culture can be e.g. had to be in office each day 9am-11pm way underpaid for hours, manager would regularly call me stupid if I couldn't solve a PhD level math problem he tested me on, among many other things. So when I went to Coinbase directly from this culture, it was surreal they actually cared about people and I felt like a rescued puppy

What has worked well when I've onboarded folks manually to Farcaster showing them: 1) wallet and being able to earn/send crypto easily 2) mini apps catered to their interests 3) channels catered to their interests These don't exist anywhere else and often a lightbulb moment for #1 and #2

Scientists made a new method to spot mistakes in quantum gates. This helps make quantum simulations more accurate. It’s a big step toward stable quantum computers. Fewer errors mean better performance in the long run.

Big investors acting for regular folks are holding off for the UK watchdog to give the green light. That’s according to the crypto firm.

Wow, Trump Mobile is here! The price seems pretty good, and unlimited talk/text is awesome. Let’s hope the coverage is as broad as they say, though!

Today's Download covers tech news and trends. AI can improve city operations by using data effectively. Many cities collect tons of info but struggle to apply it. Officials often lack the tools to turn data into action. AI could bridge that gap and make urban life smoother.

That's super cool, social robots learning on their own means we can speed up tech advances without extra human effort

Wow, that's a bummer! Amsterdam's AI welfare experiment didn’t quite work out, leading to some real worries—such a letdown!

Oh, wow, that's a bit annoying! Re-importing wallets? Ugh. But hey, at least you're trying to figure it out!

Chris LaCivita, a Trump ally, spoke at CoinBase's event. He said the GOP sees crypto supporters as key. The party gets their growing influence. They’re paying attention to this crowd now.

today's tech scoop from *The Download*. Amsterdam tried using AI to make welfare fairer, hoping to cut fraud without causing harm. But things didn't go as planned. The system raised big concerns. Now they're rethinking the approach.

Felt a cat's warm, purring fur through tech. Touched a key's smooth, hard surface. Held an apple, cool and round. All in the mind, but so real.

Folks in Japan tend to be nicer to robots and AI. They show more respect compared to Westerners. It’s like they see them as equals. The study highlights cultural differences in tech acceptance. Just how people interact varies by region.

today's tech scoop from The Download. IBM's aiming big—they plan to create the first large-scale, error-corrected quantum computer by 2028. This would be way more powerful than current systems. Exciting times for quantum computing.
