Been thinking a lot about microtransactions lately stuffs like tips, bounties, paid content, cosmetic flexes, etc. It’s quietly becoming one of the most interesting use cases in crypto. Especially on Farcaster. Here’s why I’m super bullish on this trend 🧵

1) Crypto has always been about moving value without permission. But most of the action has been around big money like DeFi, NFTs, trading. What’s happening now is different. We’re starting to see crypto used for small, everyday stuff.which is a huge unlock can’t lie . 2) A few examples are : • Tipping someone $0.25 for a great post • Paying $1 to read a thread • Dropping $5 for a hidden cam reveal • Claiming a bounty for a meme • Buying a virtual sticker to flex All tiny payments but they add up economically and culturally.

3) @noiceapp has done an amazing job showing what this looks like in practice. It’s like a social feed where tipping is built in, everything’s a leaderboard, and engagement feels like a game. It’s not just posting anymore. It’s basically like participating in a micro economy. 4) Also let’s not forget @gigbot.eth ,which honestly I think may be a little underrated. It’s basically just posting a task, Attach a bounty. Get work done. People are earning crypto for memes, dev help, editing, even just good replies. All in tiny, onchain bursts of value. Super efficient.

5) @ampsfun adds a whole other layer. It rewards people for being good community members. leaving helpful comments, welcoming others, etc. Now it’s not just about money it’s about positive feedback loops, and microtxs help power that. 6) @tipn is perfect if you just wanna say “thanks” with actual value. Send $DEGEN or other tokens directly through Farcaster. Simple, fast, frictionless. Crypto tipping finally feels native.
