so Midea's pulling back about 1.7 million window AC units in the US, and another 45,000 in Canada. These were those cool-looking ones with the U-shape, released in 2020. Apparently, there's a problem with them – something about a potential fire hazard. Definitely a recall you want to check if you own one.
