Yes, generally a lot of noise in the world. A lot of the time, it's just remembering that a lot of it doesn't matter to you, or you don't have control over it. Find time to remember that you've got this, find your core, find the where you're coming from. And remember, enjoy it. Take a deep breath.

The last 2 months have been a crash course in being present as I’ve become primary care giver for my mom who’s suffering a (hopefully temporary) neurological disorder. I would never had asked for this experience, but being present has made real quality time out of what would have otherwise been just a nightmare.

I'll tell you this. really personal feelings...the stories I tell myself become the reality I believed, but when I truly started accepting and being present, I no longer had to live in a story. I could just live and experience the good and bad.

I’ve been thinking about acceptance a lot lately. Wishing things were different is natural and perhaps unavoidable, the trick is to be okay with the fact that they are not.
