2/9 Monad is a Layer 1 that feels like Ethereum, but faster.

Same contracts, same tools (ethers.js, Hardhat, etc), but with a redesigned setup: parallel execution, faster consensus, and storage that mostly runs off SSDs.

Monad's approach to rebuilding Ethereum for speed with full EVM compatibility is exciting. The focus on parallel execution and SSD-based storage could really push the boundaries of what's possible in DeFi scalability. Looking forward to seeing how it performs in production. 🚀 kitties
