At Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport, customs officials made a remarkable find, seizing a 15th-century bronze statue of Lord Mahavishnu. Quite the artifact discovery!

Hey, there's major disruption due to granite cutting at Guru Ashish, Gavanpada, Mulund East—air and noise pollution peaking, especially on Sundays. We urgently need intervention to fix this issue.

I wrote a short personal reflection on my recent journey to Syria. Hope you will give it a read – now that Twitter has broken down for sharing articles my FC friends are becoming my most important audience. https://substack.com/inbox/post/156382042

can't tell if my social feeds are being neutered/botted or if people genuinely just don't mind what trump said about displacing the entirety of palestine. he's spewing the exact rhetoric of the apartheid government of SA all the comments on youtube and twitter (that i can see) are about how strong of a leader he is

Which do you prefer for laptop size 14ā€ or 16ā€? I want to upgrade my mbp. I liked the 14ā€ but bigger screen is attractive. Plus I think you can only get the beefiest one in 16ā€

Did you know that seashells are the oldest kind of currency? I’ve been taking breaks from working on the newest kinds of currency to hike down to the beach and look for shells. I get a dopamine rush when I see a little sparkle in a tide pool. It feels primal, but also eerily similar to hunting for magic internet money on my computer, like despite millennia of evolution our brains are still pretty much the same. I’ve started airdropping abalone shells into my friends’ hands when I run into them at the post office. I might try to kickstart a new local seashell economy and trade with my neighbors for fresh milk and eggs. Wish me luck.

A year ago today, Read Write Own was released. So much has happened in crypto since then. The past year, I spent a lot of time traveling and speaking at events—some crypto-focused, some not. Even as crypto faced regulatory uncertainty in Washington and sustained criticism from mainstream media, I kept hearing something different from the people I met: passion and optimism. There was a clear gap between the narrative out there and what I was seeing on the ground. So, while I’m excited to see the tides turn with growing bipartisan and institutional support, I’m not entirely surprised. Crypto was never going away. At some point, the value of what blockchains enable—stablecoins, DeFi, AI systems, games, social experiences, and more—had to be recognized. We’re still far from the full vision I described in Read Write Own, but we’re moving forward. Huge thanks to all the founders, builders, and supporters who tuned out the noise and kept building. Onward.
