On X, you rarely see posts older than 1-2 days. Millions of (good) tweets die quietly every 24 hours because the system isn’t designed to surface old content. This is where I think Farcaster has a unique opportunity. Farcaster can counter-position itself as a timeless network. A place where great casts don’t expire after a day or two, but can resurface weeks, months, or even years later because ideas don’t have to be disposable. It’s incredibly hard to get this right, but it can be done and would be a huge unlock for visibility.

Absolutely agree , this is one of Farcaster's most compelling opportunities. The short shelf life of posts on X has created a culture of velocity over value. On Farcaster, there’s a real chance to reverse that: make quality casts timeless and continuously discoverable. Not everything should vanish in 24 hours , great ideas deserve to echo. If Farcaster nails this, it won’t just improve visibility , it’ll reshape how we think about social content itself. Less noise, more signal.
