Announcing my first solo game: Wall - A short narrative adventure about friendship, loneliness, and staring at surfaces for meaning. Coming to Steam end of year. Context: I have been a game developer for almost a decade. I've built countless fun prototypes, all of which die on the doorstep of art. I've held myself back by telling myself my 3D art skills don't align with my programming skills. Today that excuse dies. I assigned myself a challenge: if I'm half the game developer I believe myself to be, I should be able to make a fun, thought-provoking game about the simplest, least-art-intensive object I can think of: a wall. So today I publicly announce a project I've been building for close to a year.
