How come mini apps that have notification style sounds don’t honor a phone’s sound/vibration setting?

For example, the QR app started making a chime when claiming. They’re not the only one. I DO NOT WANT SOUND when I’m mini apping and I have sound off.  

Many mini apps do this. 

I’d like a Farcaster app control over this if I can get it.

I’ve literally stopped using miniapps that I enjoy because they don’t respect sound settings, insisting on assaulting me every. damn. time. 
There are others I just won’t open if I’m listening to music because it will stop my music and play whatever crap they decided was essential to the experience lol. No ty!

yes, same issue.  I very much dislike when the podcast I'm listening to is stopped because of a "ding" in Daily Active  User app.
