Your app is only as verifiable as it's most centralised component. If you're building on the verifiable cloud, you need to ensure there are no trusted enities in the entire architecture. Keep building πŸ—οΈπŸ—οΈπŸ—οΈ

my career path: -> tried my hands in racecar engineering in freshman year of uni -> moved to tech, started learning blockchain and gave hackathons -> got an internship at PUSH protocol -> tried learning about zk and got into the yAcademy zkFellowship -> got an internship at eigenlayer -> became an ethereum protocol fellow and researched about consensus mechanisms -> finally joined Othentic as a full-time engineer

Months of research, collaboration and debugging finally ready to show to the world. Othentic AVSs can now be feature complete with the ability to slash operators. This is a huge milestone not only for us but the entire industry as a whole. The entire ecosystem is hard at work for more than a year to make verifiable apps a reality, and it's finally here. We ship redistributable slashing out of the box so AVSs can develop their insurance and safety mechanisms from Day 1. We've come long way, a long way still left to go. I'll be happy to sit with anyone who wants to learn more about slashing and how they can use these features to build the next generation of verifiable cloud. dms always open! yes this is true. Makes me wonder how do you know how big your market is in B2B. A simple problem might get paid for by small companies but mid tier to large businesses often have many internal tools. Or at least that’s what they prefer.

A question to the founders, how do you know a given problem is severe enough that a decent chunk of users will pay for to have it solved?

Just slashed an operator on testnet a couple days ago. Merged a PR for voting power calculations with slashable stake yesterday. EigenLayer launched redistribution today. We're gonna AVSs implement slashing on mainnet very soon. Keep building πŸ—οΈ πŸ—οΈ πŸ—οΈ

I don't have a video building an AVS πŸ˜… But I did build this AVS a year ago at the ETHGlobal hackathon: https://ethglobal.com/showcase/dnsregistry-avs-wb52m

of course ser. Think of a lending protocol using an Oracle. If the oracle service fucks up, it can cause user funds to get liquidated. Building the oracle service as an AVS can solve this by redistributing the slashed funds back to the users. This way, there is a garuntee that users are not harmed and the attackers are punished. Formally, a system like this is called "strongly crypto-economically safe" as coined by @soubhik You can read more here: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2401.05797 Also there's a really cool protocol building around this you can check it out too: https://x.com/juansamitier/status/1902797691912114668?s=46&t=LfGQDCifCSDGK0GRDYzQ6A

Just realised I haven't introduced myself in the channel yet. Trying to be more active on Farcaster now πŸ˜… I'm Yash and I have been deep into the eigen ecosyetem for the past 2 years. I started out by giving an audit contest on Code4rena (didn't find anything) and then participating in the eigenlayer research fellowship. That helped me land a breif internship at EigenLayer where I researched about potential AVS ideas and LRTs. Currently I work at Othentic which is an AVS development framework. I would love to help anyone who'd trying to build an AVS or just wanna have a chat about anything restaking. AMA Geigen
