Web3 still often delivers a poor user experience. A clear example is the ongoing incident with ZERO network by @zerion.eth: the network has been down for over a week, block production is halted, and users funds are effectively frozen. The team provides virtually no concrete information, limiting itself to generic statements that “work is ongoing” and “funds are safe”, without timelines, details, or progress… The issue isn’t just the outage itself, but how it feels from a user’s perspective: complete helplessness. There are no timelines, no transparency, and no alternative safeguards. As a result, Web3 - which promises decentralization and user control over funds - in practice ends up replicating the worst traits of centralized systems, but without support, accountability, or clear communication.
