Is it time to leave crypto? I don’t think so…
Yeah, the crypto market involves elevated risks. But at the same time, it represents an asymmetric opportunity, where the potential upside can significantly outweigh the risks, if approached thoughtfully.
Crypto is not just about trading. It’s an environment where practical skills are developed: understanding financial mechanisms, working with digital tools, programming, data analysis, and interacting with decentralized protocols and more.
It’s important not to confuse speculative behavior with the industry itself. Chasing pumps is one approach - closer to a gambling model. Going deeper is something entirely different. It means entering an ecosystem of technology, open-source development, startups, AI, on-chain solutions, digital economy and more.
Beyond the potential for high returns relative to risk, participation in this space allows you to build a wide range of valuable and transferable skills.
If these kinds of opportunities had existed when I was 20, I would have made sure not to miss them.
