The earlier chart seems a bit misleading. Based on Artemis Analytics data (includes some data cleanup), x402 still has a clear first-mover advantage after launching more than six months earlier. In absolute terms, x402’s buyers and sellers are still several orders of magnitude above MPP’s. That said, Coinbase’s quick move to initiate the x402 Foundation suggests it already sees the potential for future competition, despite x402’s strong lead today.
