I don't understand how y'all function in your daily lives with notifications enabled.  I only get notifications for sms, otherwise, silence and notices disabled.

I don't even know what my phone sounds like when someone calls...

I message them when I have time that isn't dedicated to something else, which can still be several times per day.  I'm also at an age where there isn't constant communication.

I understand that, but getting a notification doesn’t mean u should look instantly imo. For me it reminds me that something happened or i would forget to look at my phone completely! People i don’t want to hear i just mute and put them in archive lol.
