men seek partners based on status i.e how much value they believe others will assign true or not?

subconciously, males assign value to a female partner based on the perceived status it's like stated vs revealed preference a girl said it to me once and it stuck with me. I'm just curious on farcasters thoughts

perceived status in which way though? 🤔 not sure in america that a man would get status unless they are marrying up or something. unless we are talking about having a stay at home wife where it is valued in some circles. or perceived status from having an attractive partner. personally for me it was always about the vibe (and loyalty, attraction, connection, etc among other things) not status.

perceived status based on general consensus, someone that is "hot" just means they're attractive to more people. for a lot of men, that's a huge weight of status this is very autistic lmao but I think it's something men do without realising so i guess for vibes that would mean; if you know someone vibes with many people as well as yourself, then you might value that vibey-ness higher just by consensus
