higher people embraced the coin just fine. in fact it was tailor made for people around here who felt icky about embracing something called 'degen.' it's just that there wasn't enough wealth on Base to sustain anything for super long. degen was a mini wealth event. needed a maxi one. they waited too late to list degen, didn't release $base. is what it is.
