Web3 was supposed to change everything. Decentralization, ownership, freedom. But not everyone came to build. Some came to extract.

Airdrops turned from a gift for early believers… into bait for Sybil farmers. 100 wallets. 1 person. 0 intention to stay. DAO votes meant collective power. But whales and botnets can shout louder than builders. Manipulation wears a governance token now.

Greed doesn’t need a suit. Sometimes it hides behind ENS names and cute pfps. "Decentralized" is not the same as "just." We said “code is law.” But even smart contracts can be gamed, when the people behind them stop being smart or kind.

Not every web3 problem is technical. Some are deeply human: greed, ego, shortcuts and trust eroded by rewards... But the answer isn’t to abandon Web3. It’s to outgrow its shadows. Build for purpose, not just profit....

Let Sybil hunters chase the next drop. We’ll build something that lasts longer than hype. Because real value can’t be farmed. Web3 is still ours to define. Let’s make sure it reflects the best of us, not the worst that can be done with a wallet and a script....
