improving ux for crypto natives (rather than normies) is a better path to achieving mass adoption ๐Ÿ‘† is a loosely held thesis that is becoming more of a strongly held thesis over time

It's the innovators dillema. New Market, New UI/UX. At some point new and old markers intersect and "voila" we'll be on par with the old ๐Ÿ‘Œ

yup, if you continue to improve the UX for the marginal crypto user, you eventually grab more and more of the crypto-curious as it gets easier to use This is what Apple did for PCs and computer enthusiasts

if native is ez, normies is ez We went way too far to the right last year and almost nullified the point in the first place

Dependsโ€ฆ I have seen products take this path and ultimately still struggle to grow. I think, most importantly, products should clearly understand who they are building for. Sometimes, that audience isnโ€™t as big as they hope; thus expectations should be aligned

There is no such thing as normies and crypto natives. Design a better solution for the lowest denominator and you end up with better solutions. Eg: Audiobooks were made for blind people, how many non blind people love them?

Make it the highest quality for the locals, the outsiders will move into the new digital neighbourhood naturally

makes sense. Who else than a native is going to tell them there's a great experience and they should check it out? I don't think normies spend time hanging around crypto stuff on the off chance that they find something that's at their level. It's kind of the theory behind "crossing the chasm".

FC is a great case study of this; Utilize crypto elements but ease of use for mass adoption. The crypto stuff is nearly invisible here
