🔥Crypto Weekly Recap: 🔹Inflow ETF spot of $785M ($557M on BTC and $205M on ETH) covering the previous months' outflows. 🔹Standard Chartered has predicted a price of 500k for BTC by 2029. 🔹Trump will introduce 50% duties to the EU from June 1, 2025. 🔹The US has approved the "GENIUS Act" that regulates stablecoins that have at least 50B of market cap: the guarantee composed of real dollars and treasury will be subject to an annual audit. 🔹In Hong Kong, at the end of the year, the "Stablecoins Bill" will come into force: reserve management, reimbursement mechanisms and AML. 🔹Kraken has announced $KRAK but it is not clear whether it is the exchange token (connected to the Ink chain) or a listing on the stock exchange. 🔹Bybit has announced trading support for Stocks.

🔹Safemoon founder (old 2021 cycle memecoin), Braden Karony, faces up to 45 years in prison for fraud. CTO Thomas Smith pleaded guilty, Kyle Nagy remains wanted. 🔹Eric Council Jr. (the one who hacked the SEC's X page using SIM Swapping before the approval of the BTC ETF) was sentenced to 14 months in prison. 🔹Cetus Protocol (SUI Network) was drained of about 223M. 160M were recovered thanks to validators (decentralization?), instead 60M were swapped for ETH and bridged to Ethereum mainnet. 🔹Aevo (formerly Ribbon Finance), perps exchange, will introduce 1000x leverage at 0 fees (however they will retain a % of your eventual profits) on a new Aevo Degen platform.
