👤💰A Recent Scam with Hardware Wallet.

An investor named James received a package with a new Ledger: a white, sealed box with the Ledger logo, containing a device identical to the hardware wallet he had been using for years. The accompanying letter, written in technical and reassuring language, informed him that his old device had been compromised following a security breach and therefore had to be replaced immediately with the one provided by the company. 

The document, in addition to correctly indicating that James was already a Ledger customer, reported all the correct personal data: name, surname, address and personal email used for registration. Once the 24 words (seed) were entered into the new device, his wallet was immediately emptied.
