💯% When you suffer a percentage loss, to return to the initial value you need a higher percentage gain, because the gain is calculated on a lower value. If one of your assets suffers a -50%, to recover this loss you will have to do +100% (2x) and so on. 

This table and graph are used to realize that a -80%/-90% on altcoins is difficult to recover after years, also due to the inflation (and unlock) they suffer. The biggest difference is in the 95-99% range.
A -99% loss means making +9900% (almost 100x). As a general rule: the more an asset falls, the more difficult it will be to recover the loss.
