💻B3, a gaming protocol, has acquired gaming PC maker Andromeda Insights to support its expansion into hardware. The idea is to build a cryptocurrency-focused PC, complete with a storage drive that can self-destruct at the push of a button ( "destroy" ). Its first hardware device, the B3PC, is designed specifically for cryptocurrency, including a self-destructing storage drive that can be instantly erased, wiping away valuable and sensitive data in the process.

The B3PC’s self-destruct feature includes two options: a secure digital erase that continues even during power outages, and a physical destruction process that literally destroys the NAND flash chips using high voltage. The feature is “lethal” once activated, the data is gone forever (imagine protecting high-value files or sensitive key material).
