woke up still broken from the news of Jota and his brother’s passing. laying in bed crying as I read and watch all the tributes from players and his loved ones

Jota was a special player and human. he had such an incredibly big impact on the team, the club and supporters

to me, he was one of the best forwards in the league, and more importantly one of my favourite Liverpool players. 

Jota always played with a smile, his finishing ability was second to none, nicknamed ‘the slotter’ for how we would slot chances away

above all he was an incredible human being. a loving father and husband to Rute and their three kids

you will be missed. you will never be forgotten. forever our number 20.
