2. it has the strongest variance (i.e. you can find 75%+ quality level of every other cuisine in major American cities)

Cuisine means the totality of dishes made by your country. italian cuisine = pizza, pasta. Japanese cuisine = Sushi, Ramen.

what you mean is whether the US has a good food culture, which is definitely true.

sorry misread... my favorites are bbq, burgers, lobster, fried chicken

and yes I do think that makes it. what other country can you go to and get top tier food from every other country? I love Italian food but I don't think you can get as good Mexican, Chinese, Indian, Korean, etc food there as you can in the US.
