Agree. Not that my opinion matters, but what keeps me coming back is getting likes and good-faith replies. These mostly come from my magic internet friends on here, not random ppl that aren't mutual followers. It feels like facebook before zuc dropped the .edu requirement to sign up: a safe place to share with friends

That's disappointing to hear. The specialists SHOULD have good advice on scarring and surgery. I hope the procedure otherwise went well I frequently go look things up when I don't know and have phrases I use that are unintimidating to patients "I need to go look at the literature" or similar. Sometimes the literature is legit medical literature but often it's google or AI because I've just blanked on something and they do a good job triggering my brain back to the answer Pro Tip: patients don't like their doctor googling things in front of them
