lol the concept of “plant based” nail polish is such a scam imo. (i still bought it to try. haha) i don’t see how in the grand scheme of things replacing petroleum-based ingredients with nitrocellulose or whatever can at all outweigh the negative potential effects of all the other ingredients. correct me if i’m wrong?

Tiny, since i learned how to read the ingredient list I switched all my skin care, hair care and make up products 🥲 so crazy out there but i havent found anything good to replace these chemical nail polishes

yeah i think frankly it’s better not to use it at all. i usually don’t have my nails done because i’m worried about the UV damage if i get them in a salon, and if i paint them myself they last for like 2 days because i’m always doing stuff with my hands so it’s kinda pointless. next week i have an event so i wanted to try it. also i think our nails prefer to breathe!!! i do still get shellac on my toes for the summer tho, one little indulgence
