This time last year, we started building intori on @base.base.eth for Onchain Summer. Originally a simple tool for Farcaster channel admins to better understand their communities, and for each person to form deeper connections. One year later, @intori has grown into an app for all of Farcaster to discover, connect, and better know themselves. As we enter a new phase of our digital world where AI thrives on personal data we're giving you a way to retain your dignity and choose your own balance of privacy vs. tracking. Extending intori into the information space is our path to a more moderate, thoughtful, and human internet. It really is A New Day One!

Seeing a lot of talk lately about reach. New accounts getting boosted, older ones grinding for minimal exposure. The truth is: our most valuable asset is time. And once again, people are chasing what they think will maximize it. But this is Farcaster. It’s a protocol. If you don’t like the algorithm one client gives you, there will be others to try. That’s the point. Algorithms exist to capture your time, not reward it. You don’t earn anything from gaming an algorithm, you just feed it. The shift that’s coming isn’t about keeping your engagement high. It’s about what your agent knows about you: your preferences, your context, your values. And how well that data can help surface the right people, places, and moments in your digital life. That’s the future.
