Today I became a citizen! 🇺🇸 Between my early love for movies and growing up in a beach town in Mexico with many tourists and expats from the US, I fell in love with the place and dreamed of moving here from an early age. Saying that a lot has happened since the 90s is an understatement. It's definitely not the same place I grew up dreaming of but my love for it hasn't changed. I can't see myself living and working anywhere else.

If Google were to release a version of their internal cloud based VSCode with Gemini integrated plus Jujutsu to support auto-snapshots of all the changes made by AI agents it could be a compelling competitor in this already crowded space.

quote cast with a movie that changed your life. My love for movies started when I was 5 and watched Tim Burton's Batman. Even though I haven't watched that movie in years, I can close my eyes and see scenes of Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as Joker, I can also hear Danny Elfman's score. Same with Batman Returns. Although I found that movie scary back then.

Coding agents generating a plan or to-do list doesn't mean that they're actually going to stick to it. Today I worked with the LLM to develop a plan to try different approaches to solve a problem. Once it came time to execute on the plan it started with the first approach and when something failed it tried to disregard the entire plan, revert everything and just try to patch what I had before which I knew wouldn't work. Turns out the first approach I suggested was the correct one. The LLM just made a mistake and discarded everything. It was a Claude Code Opus 4 which is supposed to be the best. They've got a long way to go still.
