major update on /wyat mini app thanks to @neynar: you will only get notifications from the people you already follow on farcaster 🔔 this means that we're ready to start onboarding more people! make sure you add the mini app and enable notifications to get updated about what's happening around you.

I don't usually cast these reflections but I took some time during the last 3 days to take a step back and think about everything that I've been building. From all that I've dedicated time to, https://wyat.live has had the biggest impact and resonated with a lot of people but I hadn't really thought through the whole idea. All the feedback and discussions, during and after /farcon-nyc, made me realize that this initial version was just a very tiny fraction of what I actually have been longing to build for a long time. During the next few weeks and months I'm going to be building and sharing non-stop what I believe to be the best url <> irl experience that has been missing. It goes way beyond foursquare or any other platform that has existed before in this space. Thank you so much to everyone that has provided feedback, used /wyat and signed up to the waitlist. I'll be gradually inviting more people every day, experimenting and trying new things. See you "wherever you at" 🗺️

this week has been insane and I’m thankful for so many people. special thanks to @esteez.eth for organizing such an incredible event and to @adrienne and @mcbain for the best hackathon group ever. incredibly grateful to everyone that has used /wyat, provided feedback and overall enjoyed using it. I have many plans to make it better and would love everyone to follow along this journey.

new features released in last couple of hours on /wyat: - check-in caption is now added to the cast - map performance improved - prevent notifications spam (more on notifications soon) - ability to delete check-in - highlight the most recent check-ins need to head to the aiport now but I want to build so many things to get everyone using /wyat that it's hard to stop. if you have suggestions, feedback or have been facing issues using @wyat please reach out!

check ins with more than 24h are now faded to provide a better indication of who’s around you right now. also more recent check ins always display on top of older ones when overlapping. thank you for the idea @df 🙏

i'm still processing everything that happened and that is happening at farcon this week but for now it was time to sit down and add some of the most requested features to /wyat: - profile page (click on any avatar on the check ins list or check in popup) - click on the underlined location to open the map with that check in open - when clicking on new notifications (old ones won't work) you'll be taken directly to that check in location on the map - check in directly from the place popup thank you so much for using /wyat ❤️
