Part of what makes X so shitty to use now is that there is no sense of shared reality on the platform With Twitter, we had a solid veneer of truth that 80% could reach consensus on Now, it’s a thousand fragments of reality trying to coexist (they can’t) The people crave a retvrn to an internet that feels real again

Lowkey I underestimated the TBA vision because I was looking at it with preconceptions about FC clients FC / social is a core component ofc (dare I say the crown jewel), but the vision of a decentralized super app is even more audacious It’s going to be *very* hard, but if not Coinbase as spear tip, then who?

It’s funny how tech inculcates a culture of having eyes bigger than your stomach by valorizing immature success And then we chastise a young man for expressing the basal desires of that culture I suppose it’s a matter of etiquette— you’re not supposed to *say* these things, especially with such little tact

TBA is very well-built, but it mostly cannibalizes my existing FC usage — and some features like DCs, dev tools and channels require that I keep using FC So what use cases will TBA specialize in that net grows my usage? Or are existing FC users not the target audience? Trying to reason about how to use these 2 apps
