Just realized that in the past 5 years I didn’t celebrate my birthday at all twice (2020 and 2025) and only had a birthday dinner once (2021) It all starts with removing your birthday from socials. Then it just spirals out of control. We’ll see how it goes this year *You didn’t miss anything - it’s not today. I’m a loud and proud Libra*

We don’t deserve Pichi-san - one of the few people here who genuinely and ,more importantly, consistently helps those struggling on this platform. Many authentic folks will fit one of the suggested scenarios - try them and see if it works for you On a side note, I still for the love of me don’t know what I’m doing here 🙃 I revisit my activity at least once a month, and I still don’t know a single thing about my purpose. I’m definitely not one of the four types Pichi is describing and I need to think harder again (don’t ask me how I manage to live my offline life - that’s even a bigger mystery)

There is one very special intersection close to my place, and boy oh boy, it’s quintessential LA within just one block: - train station with something bonkers going on any time of day - 24/7 traffic - whole foods - overpriced coffee shop - breakfast sando spot - dispensary - some seriously odd architecture

This reminded me of my first post-uni job… Back at home, I worked at a commercial production company based in a small pre-revolution mansion. One day, our CEO pops up into my team’s suite and after talking to my boss for a minute, he just randomly goes: - By the way, have I ever told you what used to be in this building before we moved in? It was… a sex club! Yes, a real and a very famous one! Some people are still calling our landline looking for the club! *pause* - Actually, I don’t blame them, our company has a very similar vibe - we’re having a lot of fun here and somebody is always getting fucked! *leaves abruptly* *crickets*

*Someone please build / mini app game idea* A bajillion years ago, I played a PC game similar to Tetris but instead of blocks you were supposed to place countries (and US states) on a map. Continents were different levels, and you had to rotate the countries to fit them in. The falling pieces also sped up as the game progressed

If I were to compile a weekly “shortlist” of entertainment business articles, would there be any interest here? No opinion pieces or commentary, just articles - similar to what @clone is doing. I get regular longlists of content via work and can select the most “businessy” and “techy” ones for those curious about our industry *asking before doing anything because historically people here have never been into normie stuff*
