everyone missed the core point and @tike has done a terrible job of explaining himself, so let me try: let’s think in facts, what he wants to say is: 1. You are ~35ish 2. You want to make a lot of money (shit ton, $100m) If only one of these / neither of these are true for you, you can skip it— it wasn’t about you If, however, both these conditions are true, AND you’re spending a lot of time building in a limited audience set — then you’re likely targeting the wrong platform, (it doesn’t mean you won’t make money, it means you won’t make it fast enough) — because we have no idea when crypto social truly unlocks, so we don’t know when you’ll capture that value — so most likely you’re setting up yourself for disappointment. Where’s the silver lining though? > I am v optimistic that we’re around the corner > Looking at how stablecoin has unleashed and is integrating, the 0-1 in crypto social will be felt with true glory But yes — what tk wants to focus on here is that despite what might happen, it’s not true RIGHT NOW, and all we truly have is Right Now. That’s about it! Rest is his display of young blood courage, which we should respect regardless of the wrapper it comes with (Hope I didn’t make it worse, lmao)
