I used o3 to do a lot of research on Zohran and would love to see a mainstream product that helps people actually vote based on how policy personally affects them.

It just seems like it's not as simple as using just the tech for most people.

E.g. I asked a NYU girl what the sentiment was for the election and she said most peers are voting/meming Zohran because he's cute and not Cuomo because he's not.

I think Sama would fund this if you figured it out.
He at least used to love voting projects.

ChatGPT has my financial data and goals 5 yr goals outlined. When this happened, I easily asked, "How will the big beautiful bill impact me?" Then it immediately rewrote my financial plan. Brightside, I will make more money.

My current theory of the right vs left is that the right cares about their nuclear family and the left cares about their chosen family.

But the take that "not getting AI" is existential for Apple is wrong.

Consumers are not going to give up their iPhones, especially if 80% of the benefit for frontier models are all available via apps...on their iPhones.

The mythical unicorn "new AI device" won't work because 1) messaging 2) camera won't be good enough 3) manufacturing a consumer-grade piece of hardware with good battery life and build quality in 2025 is still extremely difficult.

Apple can do nothing on AI for the next couple years and then do a good enough job with power of defaults + privileged system access and be fine.
