Black boxes breed these kinds of problems. Open algorithms don't work cuz they get gamed. But how to run an open protocol based on an algorithmic feed? Problems that don't have great solutions. But watchdogging is definitely the way to deal with it in the current state.

I want to start this week off with appreciation. I will share with you a story of someone that I appreciate greatly in this space. Many of you may know @joseacabrerav from around Farcaster, Discord, or many other web3 communities. You may have even heard him play some live music in a space! His energy, charm, and boundless positivity is hard to not catch your attention! Which is not mistake; Jose has found synergy in web3 to fuse his passion for street music with the cutting edge of technology to fuel human coordination. He brings the healing power of live music into the digital space and uses it to fight against coordination failure. šŸ¤˜ Amazing as that is, this isn't what I appreciate Jose for today. Today I appreciate him for how he uses the healing power of music to connect with the people closest to him, as well. I love seeing experimentation with onchain reputation. @hatsprotocol is building an organic network of cracked devs with @curie /codao is building qualified reputation through @givebot P2P attestations, creating a Social Oracle What I'd really love to see is collaboration between projects like this. Connect this composable data and amplify it! Then we can connect it to projects like /icebreaker and /intori to further increase the reach and value! And THEN we plug all of this into @letsdivvi and turn on autonomous funding streams for all of this high-quality onchain traffic! This is the way we build a collaborative future instead of a consolidated one. What other tools are out there that need to get plugged into this system? What do you think, DAOists? I know we've talked about this a million times. Here's my summary: - we need to be on X to get discovery for the DAOists who haven't migrated to Farcaster yet - we need to be on a Farcaster native platform to enable ppl who've left or can't access X to participate So it seems that we need to cross-stream the event to satisfy both needs. Has anyone done this? I want to enable both audiences to have speakers join. Seems like the next natural progression of our call, imo. Actually moving to Farcaster, while keeping a foot in the door on X.
