scene: you’re not happy with your home, the space, the size, whatever. It isn’t working, you want to reno. you approach a new design startup and they say: rather than major changes to your space ($$$) you’d be better served optimizing friction points and aligning your behavior to fit. what’s your response?

Context in chatGPT is getting pretty nice. Ask a question and it will use known interests and past conversations to answer with ideas you’re familiar with. Kind of a back door to getting it to look in new directions too.

Middle income families have trouble starting and executing renovations/additions. It’s disruptive, expensive - but most of all it’s very opaque. I am currently planning a small renovation project of my own and it’s all of the above. I am an architect. I know how this game works. So, I can only imagine what it feels like for others. I know there is a problem to be solved and I think there is a potential market Why can’t I see a solution?

For flying with a toddler, I am a car seat in airplane seat convert. Everyone is more comfortable (and theoretically safer).
