The frustrating thing about using the iOS26 beta is that no third-party app has shipped the relevant settings for UI Kit to target to automatically update the look. As a result every app looks out of place. Even the keyboard pops up as the old keyboard. I get that there’s a risk of whole UIs breaking if it’s not rolled out cautiously but step up devs, official release is just over a month away.

Trying to automate the following process. Can be done via the macOS host system or the docker containers. 0. FLAC file enters folder watched by app 1. Musicbrainz metadata and lyrics automatically added 2. A zipped folder of the album is created and moved to my Proton Drive in a set location 3. The FLAC files are converted to ALAC 4. The ALAC files are moved to my music folder which is watched by my Jellyfin server I know that shortcuts plus hazel would likely allow me to do this on the Mac host system, but I don’t know how to do it on docker or whether it’s preferable one way or the other. Also to note: technically step 1 is already done by Jellyfin. Any advice is welcome

Update, just bought the X9 Pro 2TB. Gonna split out my music onto my existing 500GB Samsung and then use the 2TB for TV and Movies until such time that I need to get another one to split TV and movies. I’ve spent all my budget now so this is the plan for the foreseeable future. Tons of room to scale and a total cost of $540 invested plus my several years old 500gb drive, I’ve got a low energy, silent homelab with 3TB of combined (all SSD) storage and 32GB of ram.

What should I do? X9 Pro 1TB, X9 2TB, or X9 Pro 2TB? I don't really have the money for a 2TB but the small difference feels like a no brainer? (This is to occupy one of the thunderbolt 3 ports on my 2018 mac mini homelab server)

Wow, honestly, I’m pretty sold on this design language. Not just the glass which is a bit gimmicky and even tacky in certain places (like the icon gloss, which is giving Samsung circa 2015), but the: → moving of almost all commonly used UI elements (especially search) to the bottom of the screen → the out of the way nature of that bottom UI when it’s not in focus → the animations: they’re too slow otherwise but they look fantastic

2018 mac mini server update: ✅ Docker containered all of the things with Orbstack ✅ Jellyfin, Jellyseerr, Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, and Prowlarr set up (still need further tweaking) ✅ qBittorrent bound to Gluetun using ProtonVPN Wireguard ✅ Tailscale set up so I can access my media from my laptop and phone when not home. ✅ Experimented slighly with Homarr (might use CasaOS, or just not have a dashboard; is it really necessary?)

Ok now the scroll bar is crazy long, the super tight right padding on images is the same but it’s not even aligned with the padding on quote casts. WTF are y’all doing?

I only just realized that the Farcaster collectibles are 1-of-1s, not coins. I think that’s a far better approach, honestly. That said, I’m still not going to bid on any and don’t really think you should waste your money either, but I will leave them turned on and you’re welcome to go wild with my casts, just don’t come to me when no one buys your illiquid json blob.

Did anyone else have issues with qBittorrent WebUI? No matter what I do, neither the default, nor custom set password in the .conf file is working. Just fully can’t log in for the first time🤔
