Wintermute buys CryptoPunks? — $1,000,000 sweep 😐
November 13, around 7 pm, this wallet starts sweeping CryptoPunks floor with a stack of $300 ETH. A fresh wallet that was created literally a couple of minutes before the first deposit.
What's remarkable about all this is the deposit itself, which was made from the main wallet of tier-1 MM — Wintermute.
Why do they need this? — I have no idea, but their interest fits neatly into the overall growth dynamics of CryptoPunks as a collection. Perhaps this is an over-the-counter transaction from a client, or a future reserve...
