One of my biggest issues with Metamask right now is that you can't connect multiple hardware wallets and switch between them. Is there any hope of this being possible in the near future?

What do you mean? I have a Ledger, Trezor, and Keystone connected to the same MetaMask wallet and haven't encountered any issues.

You can't connect 2 of the same type of wallet. For example, you can have a Trezor + a Keystone, but you can't have 2 Keystones. This is even more annoying since the new Keystones can store 3 seed phrases.
