In 2008 I made a new years resolution to never leave the house without a point and shoot 35mm camera. Nearly 20 years later I am still doing it. Here's a thread of one interesting point and shoot 35mm photo from 2008 to 2025.

In 2009 I got one of my first entries into the world of adult entertainment. I kinda got stranded in LA because some plans fell through (that's a pretty interesting story on it's own) and I started texting everyone I knew in LA looking for something to do so I didn't spend all day sitting in my rental car. A model I had photographed earlier that week did make up for the adult industry and was going to Disneyland for porn star Dana DeArmond's birthday. I had met Dana once but for some reason she said I could come. I figured there would be a bunch of people there but instead I spent all day hanging out with the model and three big name porn stars (Bobbi Starr pictured, won AVN performer of the year a few years later). I learned so much about the industry that day and ended up photographing all the women there and it sort of launched that part of my career.
Also this particular photo ended up being the main promotional photo for my book Dinner With Igor where I photographed everyone I ate with from 2008 until the book was released in late 2014.

i heard gaga was a good person although that MTV prank show boiling points showed her getting mad but that show looks fake and i'd be mad too sooo anyway this thread is amazing and i hope you never stop posting here 🤩

The thing that gets me with you is how much movement you do in a year - like place to place. A younger me was close to that
Just other thought: I find photos of past times make me too nostalgic so I never really look at them. I wish they inspired me about the future.

Amazing stories AND shots! I need to do this more too, always had a camera on me and just stopped years ago. Need to change that.
