Remember how i told y’all i was watching tiny nyc apt tours??
Well i just watched one that was in the projects (a first, but by far the best)
Beautiful black woman told how she lived there her whole life but was very optimistic of getting out.. also told a story of how another tenant once had a 400lb pet tiger living there..

Saw this at Costco yesterday and felt instant nostalgia..
Saw today there was a documentary and just finished the 4 part series
Some takeaways:
-do NOT gift your husband 49% of YOUR company

It was my mom’s birthday a few days ago.. we haven’t spoken in years - so i decided to surprise her with a call
Me (from a blocked number): “Happy Birthday mom”
Mom: “i knew it was you!!!”
Me: “How are you?”
Mom: “I’m good.. getting ready to retire.. But hey.. do you still have your gun?”
Me: “Yes?”
Mom: “Is it loaded?”
Me: “Yes??”
Mom: “Did your ex ___ ever pick up those bullets?”
Me: “i don’t like when you bring him up”
Mom: “Okay I won’t bring him up anymore”
…
..and idk if I’ll ever fully understand the things that concern her - but it was nice speaking to her.. she tickles me.. still
Any moms out there feel free to chime in.. i’m curious to know a mother’s thought process - it’s so bizarre to me lol
